F45 Training Surry Hills Description

A little bit about us:

Chris Barnes
It’s fair to say that Chris is a fitness guru. His life has always revolved around health and fitness and from a young age his prowess in the area was evident through his involvement in State level AFL, athletics, surf lifesaving and basketball. An extremely disciplined trainer and person in general, Chris’ post-school career in the Royal Australian Navy spanned almost 12 years and for the final seven of those he held the position of Physical Training Instructor.
More recently Chris has built his own successful fitness studio and stable of loyal clients, including media personalities, through his heavy involvement with the Fox 8 series ‘Runway to LA’ and collaboration with Australasia’s leading Direct Response Television Company Brand Developers Limited.
Chris is extremely excited to be taking the next step of his fitness career with F45.

Rachel McKay
Sport and fitness have always held a significant place in Rachel’s life. Having competed at the national level in gymnastics and at a highly competitive level in both tennis and swimming at a young age, it’s no surprise Rachel is now following her life’s passion and forging a successful career in the fitness industry. Her innate understanding of and passion for exercise, sports and fitness was highlighted when she earned the title of AIF ‘Master Trainer’ in recognition of her completion of Certificates III and IV in Fitness at the top of her course.
Also qualified in Design, Rachel previously held the important role of Marketing Manager for one of the world's leading real estate companies. Naturally business-minded, Rachel possesses an intimate understanding of the essential elements that go in to building a world-class business and the dedication required to sustain it.
A member of F45 since its inception, Rachel is passionate about the F45 way of life and indescribably excited to be running F45 Surry Hills with Chris Barnes.

... Tips Weights days are the best days to really ignite your bodies own ability to burn fat. So plan and book your weights days sessions 1st, Tuesday and Thursdays.
Saturday’s and Sunday’s are hybrid sessions - this means they are works outs with weights and cardio. These days should be your 2nd priority.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday are pure cardio days.. these sessions will increase your cardiovascular system only - however an increased CV system will enable you to perform our HIIT resistance classes (weights classes) better. Complete at least 1 of these a week - if you need a day off choose the cardio class you least like.
My number question I have heard over the last 17 years as being a trainer...... “When will I see a change” The answer is simple - after you make a change! * Increase your sessions * Increase the weight you move * Increase your reps * Improve your on your nutrition This is equals CHANGE 💡

After two reconstructive surgeries, this was the last fitness activity I thought I'd be doing.
