I make smiles.
With my colourful costumes, amazing face painting and awesome balloon sculptures, I delight the young and young at heart.

WOW, I am now into my 23rd year of face painting! I love it now more than ever. Now I have added balloons to the fun.

I also offer story telling in both traditional and book reading. Some of my fury friends come along to help with the stories to the delight of all.

I started because I wanted something fun to share with my young son, Nathaniel (I should go looking for some of those old photos, yes actual photos, not digital images). Thus it all began. With a palette of Grimmas paints, a couple of brushes and a book.

I had about 5 years where I did not paint. Then my youngest son, Ashleigh, came into my life (he's my main victim, er, model). I bought some really cheap paints, painted him up as a tiger, and he loved it, so did I. That was 6 years ago. I needed to knock a lot of rust off, and play catch up on what had changed in the industry. (thankfully, no respectable painter will use acrylics now). There is so much more available in both paints to choose from, and accessories, than 22 years ago. (I still use Grimmas for some things )

I was among the first stall holders at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra.

I have $20M PL insurance and NSW police check for working with children, and the ACT Vulnerable people check. Available upon request, and without hesitation.
