Andrew is a qualified and highly skilled traditional cabinetmaker and french polisher who has worked in the furniture industry since he was in his teens. For the last 33 years Andrew has run his own business, completed thousands of restorations and specially commissioned pieces.

Over his time in business, Andrew has employed numerous fine craftsmen and trained well over 100 apprentices. After decades of requests for woodwork and restoration classes, Andrew began teaching non-curriculum classes 12 years ago.

Andrew’s valuable 4 hour sessions run most weekends and Mondays. Students brings along the item they would like to work on or the ideas and measurements of the item they would like to make, and Andrew coaches them through the process, providing instruction in the skills and techniques to create a unique piece that can be proudly displayed in the student’s home.
