A bit too pricey but good overall. I have visited quite a few times over the past 7 years and I have noticed they used to allow more animals to walk around and interact with people which I really loved about it. Now there is none of that. And the only way to cuddle a Koala is paying an extra $$ (30+) to get a photo. If you really want to interact with Kangaroos I would recommend that you go to the Koala Park instead.

Enjoyed the experience. As with many zoos, enclosure s can be small. Although, this does allow a closeness to the animals. Staff and volunteers all helpful. Enjoy!

Best animal experience in Sydney area! I used to be in love with Taronga Zoo. That all changed 5 minutes after entering Featherdale. This place was absolutely wonderful and terrifically fun!! Whether you’re 4 or 94, this park is perfect!!! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Worth every penny.

Lovely small zoo with well maintained enclosures. Plenty of Australian animals, with a particularly wide variety of bird species. Despite the midday heat, it was pleasant walking around due to ample shade. However many of the animals were resting under shelter further back in their enclosures to avoid the sun, so i would suggest coming earlier in the day.

The kids enjoyed feeding the kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos but I would suggest just getting one cup of feed. The animals are well fed by a constant stream of visitors and though our girls tried hard we couldn't exhaust the supply. We bought 3 cups for $5 and ended up giving most of it to a family that were coming in when we left.

This is a great little park. While most people who came to the park we're there for the Koalas and Kangaroos (myself included) I found the birds to be absolutely incredible. There was an incredibly wide range of birds from Australia and beyond that were just incredible to see. This park won't take you all day to explore so if you have a half day or are on your way to the Blue Mountains it's a great stop.

A must see zoo where kangaroos roam almost free, you can feed them (get kangaroo food as you enter for $2 a cup), pet them, take pictures with them and enjoy them for hours. Koalas are super cute and you have to really watch for when they are awake as they make really good subjects for your photos. Overall a very pleasant half-day activity for the entire family. Getting here by train is very easy and directions are straightforward.

One of my favorite places to go to see native wildlife. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The animals are well cared for, many are free roaming, and the enclosures are kept in a state similar to the animals' native environment. You can feed and pet the kangaroos, take a picture with a koala, and learn about native species and conservation from their presentations throughout the day. My favourite part is the variety and amount of bird species. Great place to take kids and for tourists (I always take my family visiting from the US).

I didn't expect much. My daughter wanted to feel a koala, so I had to get her over to this place to put her hands on it. I was impressed. They had more birds than any zoo I've been to, and very nice and beautiful birds. They had all of the animals native to Australia, and you can actually feed and pet the kangaroos. We were limited with our time but spent two exciting hours there. It was a better experience than a zoo because you can have encounters with the animals. The prices weren't that bad considering that the park had so much to offer. Probably about 30 koalas in different parts of the zoo, and I would guess at least 75 kangaroos. Very nice experience, in the middle of a not so nice neighborhood.

Amazing local wildlife park and zoo. It is a small zoo but you can spend a lot of time in it, especially getting up close and personal with a selection of animals. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the all the animals. There is a cafe that has a decent variety of food and drink that you can order from.

My favourite experience was being able to pet the kangaroos and feed them.

If you plan on coming more than once, buying a season's pass may be worth your while.

One of the best wildlife parks we have visited. The USP here is being able to strike and feed the wallabies and kangaroos and get your photo taken stroking a koala ($20 charge). Great to wander round taking in Australian wildlife. The cafe offer a wide selection but I felt it was pricey though current exchange rate doesn't help. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great day out, thoroughly recommended.

Thank you to this place for such a fantastic opportunity to communicate with animals that close.. It's an incredible energy you get from that. I would recommend everyone to visit this place. Also the staff is friendly and I like that this place is not huge. The only tiny complaint I have is that I expected to see more information about the animals on the nameplates, it was rather brief for me.

There aren't many places accessible within Sydney where you can interact with any of the animals. This place is great as it's small enough to get close, but still takes a good 2-3 hours to fully get through the park. The staff are friendly and hold some scheduled information sessions throughout the day. Interacting with the wallabies is free, as they just roam around, as well as some other farm animals. You can't cuddle a koala, but you can pay extra to pat it and take a photo with it. For anyone wondering, they feel woolly like a fluffy ball of yarn.

Loved this little zoo! Definitely worth a visit. This was part of an excursion that was booked through a travel agent so I'm not sure of the price. It was very clean and friendly. Absolutely loved how up close and personal you can get with kangaroo's and kaola's.
