This just about sums up how I look at the 4 week physical challenge which officially finishes this week. Decide, what is most important to you, and go for it. There will always be obstacles - you can handle them. How? Completely up to you, when you know much you want what you want, the HOW becomes easier to see and put into practice.

The social aspect is an important factor when choosing where you go for your exercise. We had a fabulous night out to celebrate birthdays and upcoming holidays.

This bread could be a great addition to anyone who likes to stay away from gluten and wheat. It was made from seeds and is very filling - perfect.

One of the best scenes to watch this week - these two are smashing the workout. I am very proud.

Have you recently committed to a challenge or achieving a goal that might make you feel good or get you where you want to be? Then you might nod your head when I say that as we travel along our journey, there may be obstacles such as external influences, sickness, news, events, temptations of all sorts trying to prevent us from reaching what we set out to achieve. Are you with me? Far too often, it is when things seem difficult that we make excuses that may lead us to give up... on being compliant to set rules. Over the past 4 days I personally have had some obstacles to overcome, which could have easily been reasons for me to throw in week 1 of a 4 week physical challenge that I put out to my customers/participants. I had some news that really forced me to do some thinking, have been fighting a small chest infection and as a result, have not been feeling the best both physically and mentally. Every day since Thursday I have been procrastinating on completing a physical task that should have taken me about 10 minutes each day. Today is the last day of week 1, and the options are clear - do it or don't. Not doing it, would leave me feel so guilty towards those who trust me and work with me to achieve their goals. The fact that I had my own personal WHY attached when putting this challenge out there and when signing up to complete all of it, was the very thing that brought me to quit those complacent thoughts and do 4 days worth of small workouts ending in a bigger workout altogether. Yes, I am happy it's done. Yes, I am content with my effort. Yes, I know I will see the result that I am after. Giving up is far too easy. So to all of you reading this - what's your WHY to engage in a challenge/ in my challenge? Have you had similar experiences? And how do you think you will go in the future when committing to something that might bring some form of change to you?

CHALLENGE - is always a big word. what if we could turn this into something achievable? What if? The Physical Challenge is going to consist of a different weekly, body weight related activity that can be performed by anyone. It is all about adding that little bit of extra workout to your days to increase your overall energy expenditure. What it will be all about is to - once you have committed to stick to it for 4 weeks - make yourself accountable, be focused and disciplined because you have a goal in mind. Commitment value: $30 - to me it is so much more. What will it mean to you?
