I would highly recommend diving/hiring with Feet First Dive. Unlike other dive stores, they check your certification and care for the individual diver, not just the "DIVE WITH US and gives us all your money" mentality.

Dive with them on the boat or go on some of their well-run shore dives!

These Guys are fantastic, The service is outstanding, equipment is all in great condition & the place is just full of nice people. Absolute pleasure to deal with you guys...Thanks heaps Hillbilly, Trudie & the gang....

I did my open water with Feet First Dive in September '15. Loved it and have been diving with Trudie and Hillbilly ever since. They are always happy positive people to deal with with a great attitude and appreciation for the ocean. The hire gear is always easy to use and readily available. I thoroughly reccomend Feet First to anyone visiting the Bay for a dive or people just wanting to start their scuba diving adventures.

So i finished my open water dive course today. What a great bunch of people. I had the best 2 days. The course structure was great and our instructors trudie and dave wee unreal. We had a bbq lunch both days and a no rush kinda feel throughout the entire course. I can't wait to head back and dive with them again if they'll have me. Very happy i went with them👌🏻

Great support, fantastic knowledge of local dive site and excellent instructors. I have done multiple dives with the team at Feet First and every experience was awesome.

We received very poor service from Operations Manager Trudie Blackett and some of her actions almost put my life in danger. I dived around the world and had never feel the need to write and honest opinion until today, I felt poorly treated by Trudie and do not wish that upon anyone else. I do not recommend this dive shop to anyone. Here are 4 specific reasons:

1. Two dive gauges provided by the shop do not function properly, as a result I cannot tell the depth and duration of both my dives. When I noted this to Trudie, instead of taking accountability on her shop's equipment, her first response is that I should have taken the refresher dive course and that I should be able to count to 3 minutes so I can make the safety stop when approaching the surface. Her advice shows the lack of professionalism and also lack of respect.
2. Trudie added an unusual and unnecessary amount of extra weight to my dives on the second day. I was not made aware of this and as I was feeling sea sick travelling out to the dive site, I sank much quicker into the water which was potentially very dangerous.
3. After the group came back from the dive trip, I had to make an urgent call for about 5 min, and was not able to immediately help Trudie unpack and clean dive equipments. I must stress the fact that helping Trudie is a courteous and not a required task of paying customers. I was very shocked that although my husband was already actively helping her so I can make my call, Trudie was aggressively making sarcastic comments at me, and trying to make me get off my phone so I can help her immediately. This is very rude and inappropriate. I had all the intentions to assist, Trudie need to respect the fact that the group came back late and as a result it may have cut in to other things people had scheduled in the day.
4. Finally, as diving is not something we do everyday, on our first day of diving there are some steps and details We needed to consult the team to remember. Instead of being friendly and helpful like all other dive shops, Trudie made a lot of sarcastic and disrespectful comments on how we didn't take the refresher course instead. We have not received such treatment from any other dive shops and find her very unprofessional and unhelpful.

The rest of the crew were friendly and very helpful, without them my experience would be ruined by Trudie.
