Let's talk quality over quantity. What are your thoughts?
Knitting and crochet is a huge part of our lives, right?!
We always talk about the benefits of the actions with our hands, the calming of our minds, about the feelings of excitement and anticipation as we create, one stitch at a time.
... Have you ever thought about how quality yarn adds an even deeper level of satisfaction to our craft, even if we don't realise it.
I was knitting one particular mitred square yesterday, a semi solid, so no pops of colour, which I would normally find a bit boring. Yet, this square was satisfying on a whole new level (will share a pic soon)
It was softer and smoother as I knit each stitch. The fabric looked neater and plumper (not sure if that's a word) and I realised, it's my new Swish Sock base making all the difference.
It all comes back to 'you get what you pay for' and 'quality over quantity'. So, choose carefully guys, spend that little bit more on one skein rather than less on multiple skeins. Your future self will thank you for it.

I'm super excited to show you this WIP, more new colourways AAAAND 3 more tops I have finished 😍
My new continental knitting skills are being put to good use with this two handed colour work ribbing on my Kemper Top
I can also switch hands for both knitting and purling [0:38]. This is where Norwegian purling comes in very handy 😉
