An Indian Air Force Su-30MKI Flanker flies off the wing of a Royal Australian Air Force No. 75 Squadron F/A-18A Hornet during Exercise Pitch Black 18.
Exercise Pitch Black is the Royal Australian Air Force’s largest and most complex exercise. Pitch Black 2018 was conducted at RAAF Bases Darwin and Tindal from 27 July until 18 August.
... The exercise featured up to 4000 personnel and up to 140 aircraft from 15 participating nations. Exercise Pitch Black aims to further develop offensive counter air, air-land integration, and intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities, as well as foster international co-operation with partner forces.

Something to kick start your weekend. Have a good one.

Good but for that price I expected a bit more entertainment such as speech or presentation. Nice plane models and for the first time ever I had a chance to see a drone. Price should be a bit lower.

This place was great, good mix of old a new items, lots to look at and you can watch planes coming in and out from the observation deck.

An amazing display of aircraft. Interesting and informative guides,with hands on experience!

This is a fabulous exhibition for all ages to enjoy. And if you are there when training flights are taking place, you've hit the jackpot. They are awesome. Top off with lunch or snack at the cafe. Well done old RAAF guys!

Great place to spend time enjoying the history. Hands on things make it exciting too.
Great cafe to have a bite to eat. Quick service and very affordable. Fighter jets were very exciting too flying overhead. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The cockpits are awsome to seat in and they have a great collection of planes. Very cool experience and you learn alot

Fighter World is an incredible experience, plan to be there all day, the exhibits are sensational and well set out and the staff of former RAAF servicemen guides are always available and ready to explain the exhibits and add their background knowledge from their own experiences, there are even two fighter planes in the collection where you can actually sit in the pilots seat. The display is fascinating we will be going back.
Next door to the main hanger is where the Fighter World Cafe is located the food was well prepared, filling and generous Allan the cafe proprietor was very friendly and full of information he also has an incredible display of memorabilia and banknotes from all over the world framed and hanging on his wall and a depth of knowledge to bring them to life. All in all we spent two days admiring the exhibits. Frank Taylor.

It was too hot in a summer day! But good collection of aircrafts.

It's affordable and fun. But it a hot in side in summer.

Awesome place, has a lot of great and interesting history in there. If your in the area don't drive past, go in. You won't be disappointed.

Fighter world is a great little place near Hamilton. It has to jets that you can take photos while in the cockpit and the cafe makes excellent chips and gravy.
