Fire And Rescue Nsw - Dungog 282 Station Description
Dungog Fire Station is located on the corner of Lord Street & Mackay Street Dungog. It is a Retained Station comprising of paid on-call fire fighters who work on an availability roster.
The station is currently staffed by a Captain, two Deputy Captains and 10 Fire Fighters.
Dungog Fire Station provides a Fire, Hazmat, Medical and education /prevention /preparedness service to the Dungog township whilst supporting the NSW Rural Fire Services of greater Dungog, Clarence Town, Gresford and Stroud areas with HAZMAT, structure fires and other requests for assistance.
Dungog Fire Station also provides a Primary Rescue response boundary of 2200 square kilometres incorporating the southern section of the Barrington Tops, Chichester & Upper Allyn State Forests and working alongside Gloucester SES Rescue, Ambulance Rescue Rutherford and Raymond Terrace SES Rescue.
