Fire & Rescue Nsw Station 507 Woolgoolga Description
Fire & Rescue NSW is one of the world's largest urban fire and rescue services, we manage fire emergencies in NSW’s major cities and towns. We respond to rescues, hazardous materials incidents and possible terrorism activities across the State. We work with other government agencies to minimise the impact of bushfires, storms, floods, landslides, building collapses, motor vehicle accidents and other emergencies. We also run prevention and preparedness programs to prevent these emergencies and reduce their impact on the community.

On Tuesday the 24th of March, one of our crew is doing a fundraising ride, (along with 27 firefighters from Sydney) raising money for the kids Burns ward! He is riding 473km on a push bike!
He is the only firefighter outside the Sydney region doing it! And the only retained firefighter doing it!
Many of our kids on the Mid North Coast that suffer burns end up in the kids burns ward! So it is supporting our local kids and their health care!
... If you would like to support him please visit
www.400in4.org (if donating please select “Lee Varney” as the rider)
Or look up 400in4 on Facebook and see his progress and comments
