Great coaches in Edgar, Mauricio, and Sammy; great location.

This gym has something for everyone just about. Excellent equipment especially in the weight room and kept ingood repair. Nice place to do my CrossFit workouts. Sometimes staff cant assist you might be too busy.

Cluttered, outdated, and a mess. With the kind of clientele actively arguing over mirror space, to then collect all the 10kg bumpers in the entire gym to do 6 jerky rows over the course of 25 minutes in one of the very few racks.

As CBD gyms go this is pretty good. Staff are helpful and attentive. Doesn't come anywhere close to the 'platinum' Fitness First label, outdated and in need of renovation but convenient location. Changing rooms and toilets need a dedicated cleaner, doesn't seem like it's cleaned more than once a day for the number of users.

It's worth the money for where it is in the city but there are definitely better Fitness First gyms in Sydney.

Scummy bathroom, shower and sauna conditions, despite mentioning to front desk. I don’t think the cleaners even take care of the bathrooms.

Very average FF. Good location but it doesnt make it platinum, unattended reception, old equipment, destroyed lockers, and much more. Not coming back

Certainly not Platinum standard! Small, dated, scarce equipment and floor space, awkward layout, will not be returning at the premium Platinum price they charge. Rip off Fitness First!

This is my experience with Fitness first. I joined to fitness first since it was endorsed by Fitness first and completed joining formalities on 5th July, but it was clearly mentioned that 7th July on wards my card to fitness first would be activated. My actual first entry to health club was 10th July 2017. The cooling off period ends on 21st of July, When I decided to get out of the Fitness First because of the personal constraints they were not really ready to help and say that my joining date is 5th July 2017 which is not correct. I strongly discourage to join this club. This is my experience, it could be different for others.

I was thinking to re-join this gym. But I was pushed away by pushy, agressive & try hard salesperson. Seriously outdated equipments (10 years ago - I was a member here), overcrowded and weird layout. It looks as tho they do a quick makeover but the machines are dated from 10 years ago.

They quoted that "They are the best gym in town!" What a joke - look around there's better gym around the cbd. Really by being so cocky, pushy and arrogant you are pushing away your customers/potential customers.

I will not be joining/returning to this gym.

A standard Fitness First. A bit small, but does the job if you avoid peak times

Yesterday I went to Fitness First Park St Platinum as I had been offered a free trail. Initially, I was treated nicely by the staff (although I did find Roger's inquiry into my personal life rather unnecessary and his way of explaining me one or two machines after asking about they were operated less than half-hearted a la "I'm sure you can figure it out"). Even so, I had a great time exercising and was seriously considering joining the club within the next week.

All until this happened: upon wanting to leave the gym, I was told I had to wait for said 'Roger' in order to return my ID to me (which made me wonder: is the simple act of returning a card such a complicated undertaking that it requires the gym a specialised person to do this?) Anyway, I quickly realised why the gym reception would't so easily return my ID:

Roger returned with my ID, along with his broad, fake smile and his sleek, fake mannerisms, asking me more personal questions targeting literally every layer of my life, together with the assistance of his co-worker Hannah - all the while acting as if it was okay to interrogate a total stranger to the point of aggravation, just because they were standing on the opposite side of the counter. An attempt to appear personable and get your foot in the door? Sorry, but no dice.

But the worst is still to come: after I had explained to them that I have had a pleasant experience at the gym and that I was in fact interested in becoming a member and that furthermore, I would like to see a brochure to familiarise myself with the prices, Roger used a style of trying to push the membership upon me that was so aggressive as I have rarely seen before. Saying things like: "Why think it over, if you can become a member right now?", "There is no better gym out there, I swear to you, I have done the research, "We are the best one, I know all the gyms" and lastly "We are just trying to give you the best deal here, you should seriously become a member right now".

After stating three times that I would simply like to see the brochure and needed to think it over, Roger would still not respect this request of mine, making me feel as if if he took me for a silly customer with no will on her own, who he could just override like that - just so that he could get a promotion at the end.

I thought it was a disgusting experience, and it was a pity as based on my experience at the gym I had actually wanted to join (the facilities speak for themselves). However, please know that I threw away Roger's brochure and magazine into the nearest bin as soon as I exited, and that I won't be seen at any Fitness First gym anytime soon.

Great facilities and friendly staff, with the exception of Dave. Dave really ruins the experience. Pray you don't meet Dave.

Lay out is quite poor. Very squashy and feels very crowded. I think the equipment and sections aren't organised very well. Power racks placed right in the middle of the floor etc.

I've been to many gyms in the past and this one quite clearly isn't up to scratch - Gyms like Anytime Fitness have state of the art equipment and are always enhancing the gym-goers experience. Unlike this club which uses old machines and making the space more crowded than it should be.

The only good thing I will say is the location is quite central to everything and close to public transport.
