Five Dock Medical Centre

Been getting text from this practice for days to make an non urgent appointment, but I suffer from fatigue and don't want to make an appointment that I might no be able to make. So I walked in and they made me want 30 minutes and there was never more than 4 people waiting, they had 8 doctors on duty. When I queried why I haven't been seen yet they said they where busy, I believe they messed with me because I asked to be taken off their texting list, I won't be going back.

What happened to the customer is always right?

Fantastic Staff! In all the years I have been coming here, the only time I have had to wait to see a doctor is when I hadn't made a booking, and even then the lovely receptionists were able to give me a time frame for when I would be seen. The doctors are awesome! I managed to get all of my holiday vaccinations in one day, without booking ahead!

The doctor did not listen to any of my concerns and talked over me, trying to sell me the flu shot and a cold spray for the first ten minutes of my appointment. I was also asked to do a vaginal swab where she did not sanitise her hands or the bed before touching me. She was also incredibly rough and I was not treated with care. On top of that, she was running 50 minutes late. A truly terrible experience.

Receptionist experience I had was terrible. I was in pain, she told me the walk in wait was 1hr... I went for a coffee, came back 30min later. She was like bad luck- put me last in line and I waited another 1hr, until I said something... No compassion, and quite rude. Should've been next in line. Not impressed. Doctors are nice though.

Excellent professional health care provider. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Doctors are very caring and knowledgeable. The nurses are competent and compassionate. My entire family goes here for our medical needs. Felt like I knew the staff here already. Must be being handled by a great Practice Manager..for sure :)

Good doctors, horrible front desk. Receptionists are extremely rude and unfriendly. Every time I have called or visited, I have experienced the same consistent negative attitude. No idea how they are still employed???

nice place and helpful people, bulk billing. most of the doctors are really great, I'm happy to see almost anyone. one doctor who shall remain nameless is really condescending but you can ask to see whoever you like. you can book in advance or just join the queue.

Update nov 2016 make an appointment. DO NOT RELY on joining the queue. 45 mminites turned into 2 hours and i eventually left

Brilliant Doctors and reception staff who really care about their patients. Highly recommend

very rude receptionists staff. Openly mocking each customer that comes in. WHY? Seriously if you hate your job then go somewhere else.
