I am semi-regular of this brilliant unpretentious craft beer place. Staff are brilliant, friendly & entertaining - even the owner (who is sometimes behind the bar) can be chatted to. The on-tap beer changes quite regularly (more stout!) but also a lot of craft beer in bottles too. The food is good, yet also is quite quick to come out. The layout is deceptive in that there is more seating that you initially think. Not a party pub or a booze barn, but a great place to meet (& make) friends, drink beer & talk bollocks.

We were new customers and we had no menus on our table we had booked! I had to keep calling for the waiter and we did have vegans which we live in the 2017 century these people exist!!! They tried their best to give the vegan a meal , but the waiter was completely rude. Once we left and we came back to go to the toilet, we walked into the waiter complaining about vegans and us! We were new customers and we will never go to you again. Get with the time flat rock cafe and very disappointing.

Great beer spot! Friendly knowledgeable staff ...I always stop here on my way to or from Artarmon! And I take some of their great bee home with me! Less pricey than the Local Taphouse despite being on the affluent North Shore. Try the Japanese place next door if you don't fancy the pub menu - I have only eaten here on Curry Night (Tuesday )..not bad!

Back here again late on Sunday after a long drive from Tamworth - brilliant beer and some excellent cheesy Margarita bread! Slowly relaxing! Five stars again - August 2017

Friendly and helpful service from knowledgeable staff. Great selection of the best local and international beers you can get, with a few brewed on site. Relaxed atmosphere to spend an afternoon or evening with friends.

Awesome little microbrewery! Try the tasting paddle if you can't decide what to get. Highly recommend the Stout and they also do a mean steak. Great cosy spot on a Saturday afternoon with friends.

Good selection of beer and lovely local brews - you can get a taster paddle if you want to try something new. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is tasty but nothing special; could be a couple of dollars cheaper for what you get. Good atmosphere but a little loud. Nice for Friday night drinks and would definitely go again.

Absolutely sensation. Amazing beer, simple but extremely tasty pub menu. Clean and helpful staff who know their beers. Fast service even on busy nights. They also have a great Trivia night. A must do!

A Surprise find! Loved the extensive variety of beers. Our food was a bit delayed coming out so they offered us a paddle of beer on the house. I didn't even realise the food was late but the barman came over and said drinks on the house to apologise for the late food. Bonza! The food was so yummy when it came, I had Schnitzel and the other half had the steak, both dishes were yum! Juicy and full of flavour. Will definitely be back!

Always great beers on tap. They change all the time and I always find myself with new favorites. The food is also a great accompaniment and rates well against anything else in the area.
