Absolutely LOVE Lorna's playing and approach to teaching!

As promised, here's a short video demonstrating the pre-owned Powell Grenadilla Wood Flute we recently received. I don't have a lot of experience playing on wooden flutes so I was pleasantly surprised by just how responsive it was. To get the pianissimo, all I had to do was whisper into it and the flute spoke back to me. The top register is also capable of being brilliant without the veiled quality I originally expected from a wooden flute. I would be more than happy to use t...his as my main instrument and highly recommend anyone looking for a professional level flute to consider it.

The piece being played here is called 'Ninnananna' by Ross Edwards. It means 'Lullaby' and is one of several beautiful works from his 'Mystic Springs' album.
