Due to the rain we are currently experiencing and the weather predictions for the weekend, the planned Place Making activity at Flynns Beach this Sunday has been postponed. Sorry for the inconvenience and we'll get back to you in the new year with a new date.

User

If you live in the Flynn's Beach area or would like to be a part of a Place Making activity join us this Sunday from 10am as we revitalise the shopping area, new bus stop and surrounding spaces. We'll be painting the power poles, fences and the median strips in bright, beach themed colours. Message box us with your contact details if you would like more information or come and join us from 10am.

The beach is great just keep an eye on younger kids as sometime can have a rip or two. The walk between the wharf an Flynn beach is know as the Doctor. Great for cardio work out or casual stroll, plenty of stairs though.

There is four resteraunts in the area however seem to be over priced and service lacking. The Tapas resteraunt the beast on the beach and always busy get for a more family oriented experience try the Caravan park Bar and resteraunt. Good prices, relaxed and has safe and secure play area. Has live music at times and nice specials during the week. In the mornings their is a great milk bar on the corner however only been their once and the service was slow. But this a country town which is strangely part of the appeal. Best cheap meals head back towards port and there is a Pizza shop opposite the Port X-ray - worth the trip.
