Folk Tree Farm

About Folk Tree Farm

We offer accommodation in a funky 100 year old house in a Bohemian, yet rural, location close to the ocean, only 20 minutes from the well loved Byron Bay

Folk Tree Farm Description

Our refurbished 100 yrs old funky timber home is full of character and artworks largely inspired by music. We can sleep up to 8 people making it both a great festival house or tranquil hang out.
There are outside decks over looking 2 acres of rainforest. With two outdoor baths to relax under the stars. We have a well stocked veggie patch & fresh eggs daily from our chooks

The house has 3 bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, walk in wardrobe and doors opening onto the back deck. The second bedroom and bunk room are at the front of the house. With a connecting corridor to the sunken bathroom. There is a sofa bed in this corridor should you wish to have 8 guests, it is a super comfortable bed. This also leads to a front outside deck and alternative dining space if you want to catch the sunset.

We have an open plan kitchen and lounge room with a table that comfortably seats 8 people. Which feels inside outside as we have corner bi-fold doors opening onto a large outside deck at the back of the house.

The back deck catches sunset and sunrise glimpses and has views over 2 acres of rainforest, veggie patches, chickens, fire pits, an outdoor shower and two outdoor baths to relax under the stars. . Although please use green products and be careful of water consumption. As we are on tank water and so therefore all the water run off feeds our fruit trees and veggies.

We stay on the grounds in a very separate space. We have a cabin /art studio with our own facilities. We also have two super friendly dogs and chickens roving around. Whilst we keep to our own space we can't guarantee our dogs will!

You can occasionally hear the freeway in the distance however, if the wind is right you hear the waves instead. During festival times you can hear the music faintly.
