Karla Wicks
Age: 22
Location: Denman, NSW (Hunter Valley)
Current Horses: Foxhill Isabella (2**), Foxhill Gran Cinzano, Precious Wood, and some babies out growing!
Long Term Goals: to continue to produce eventing horses that are competitive mounts at the higher levels of eventing, to represent Australia and to be a mentor and coach for future generations!
Recent Achievements:
• Completed the CCI2** at 2014 Melbourne International Horse Trials (prev. Melbourne International Three Day Event)
• Winner of the CIC2** at Camden Equestriad May 2014
• 8th out of 68 at CCI1* 2013 Melbourne International Three Day Event

Experience /Qualifications:
• ‘Born in the saddle’ – Both Mum and Dad’s families rode competitively
• Worked at Craig and Prue Barrett’s farm ‘Sandhills’ in NSW for 10 months in my ‘gap year’ 2011.
• Am currently in my third year of study at CSU, completing a Bachelor of Equine Science
• Qualified NCAS EA Introductory Coach
• Studying for my NCAS Level 1 Coaching certification
• 2013 recipient of an RASF Rural Scholarship to assist with my university studies

• Member of Denman Pony Club for past 17 years as a rider and recently as an instructor /mentor
