Friends Of Bondi Pavilion

The Friends of Bondi Pavilion (FOBP) is a not-for-profit community organisation. We work to keep Bondi Pavilion for the community and ensure the building is maintained and advocate for vibrant community cultural programming.

We would love you to join us and like us. Be part of the future plans for the Pavilion which is so central to our community at Bondi Beach.

Our FOBP facebook page will be kept up to date with news of upcoming events hosted by FOBP; and developments in Waverley Council’s Plans for the Bondi Pavilion.

We want our Facebook page to become a place for comments and conversations about the Pavilion and also the Art Deco heritage of Campbell Parade. We’d also love you to share your photos and memories of the Pavilion as a rich resource for the community.

The ‘Castle Pavilion’ opened in the 1920’s replete with changing rooms, Turkish baths, shops, lockers, a gym and a ballroom. Now a cultural centre as well as a bathing Pavilion, it has a special place in the hearts of many Australians.

In 2005, a group of locals founded the Friends of Bondi Pavilion. We have had input into the development of the Bondi Park & Pavilion Plan of Management.
