Friends Of Northern Beaches Palliative Care

Northern Beaches Palliative and Supportive Care Service is a part of HammondCare Health and Hospitals

Who helps when life-limiting illness halts the future for a young mom, a Gen Y guy, a Baby Boomer, or an oldie on the way to scoring a century?

In Sydney's Northern Beaches, the Palliative Care service has supported thousands of locals and their families from Manly to Palm Beach and from the ocean to the Roseville Bridge. For more than twenty years a team of specially qualified medical and allied health professionals and volunteers has provided physical, emotional and spiritual support, sharing a precious part of life's journey. Care has been given in people's own homes, in hospitals, nursing homes and the Palliative Care Cottage at Mona Vale Hospital.

A group of volunteers has created Friends of Northern Beaches Palliative Care, a United Hospital Auxiliary that helps through awareness, advocacy and fundraising. They work to enhance and expand Palliative Care for your community.
