Friends Through Folk Art Guild

The Guild was founded in 1994 by a group of like minded artists as a means of sharing knowledge of Decorative and Folk Arts through friendship.

Established in 1994, the Friends through Folk Art Guild was formed by a group of like minded artists who saw the need for a Folk and Decorative Art group in southern Sydney. A group that could meet and share painting ideas, interests and promote Folk and Decorative Painting. Since this time the "Guild" has expanded with members all over Sydney, Australia wide, as well as overseas members. Our members and friends meet quarterly to share ideas. Our Guild distributes a quarterly newsletter ( to financial members) conducts workshops, Charity days and an annual weekend away of painting workshops with talented teachers.
