G-Star Raw Store

Well GEE people, all my experiences with G Star at 101 George street have been better than great. Staff were accommodating and if there has been an issue, it was rectified immediately. I'm sure we can all relate to a certain level of discomfort taking time out of your busy days to try on jeans or tops, jackets shoes etc. The staff at G Star are there to help and not to hinder. I'm sure the management have chosen their teams with the personalities that have earned every one of the staff a position as sales people at the Star. I'm very happy with how I've been treated as a customer. Nice work G Star Raw

As a longtime GStar customer I had the worst experience yesterday at the World Square store, I spent 40 minutes trying to fix an issue with my jeans and the experience was terrible. The male in charge did not want to help, offer options or come up with a solution! He was rude, continuously spoke over me and lied about where my jeans were - I'm not quite sure why he was in charge as his focus was definitely not for the customer.

I was lucky enough to cross paths with an experienced team member who recognised me and managed to fix the problem in five minutes!

The selection of denim at G Star is fantastic with every combination of waist and leg measurements to fit all sizes. I had to return a pair of jeans to this store (I chose the wrong size online) and not only did they accept it outside the 14 day return period but the store manager was extremely friendly and even showed me a couple of really cool sneaker stores in the area.

Bought a pair of trousers for $280 two months ago. After using a pre-wash detergent (Vanish non-bleach) on a small stain the trousers discoloured. I followed the washing instructions which didn't mention anything about a not using a pre-wash detergent. I took them back to the store and was told the manager was not in and would call me back tomorrow. 2 days later no phone call. Called the store back and the a shop worker I spoke to said they would ring the manager. Just had a call back from the shop worker and a message to pass on from the manager (who didn't ring me back themselves) to say the item isn't faulty so too bad. Poor customer service. Will have to take this to NSW Fair Trading.
