Galaxy Motel

Great location, nice and tidy rooms but outside noise was a bit too easy to get into the rooms. Bonus was getting a membership to the RSL nextdoor!

Good, clean and friendly. Cannot hear the outside noise from a club or a highway being so close. Nice meals for room service.

Nice and clean. Love the huge shower head. Beds a little too starchy

Rooms are good and tidy. However, the swimming pool was with pieces of leaves and feathers.

Took forever to check in as receptionist was on the phone. Place is reasonable but quite expensive.

The absolute worst service. Walked into my room and was hit by the distinct smell of urine through out the room, couldn't locate the smell so opened all the windows and doors to air out. Sat down to watch tv, it's not working. Went and saw reception and advised them of problems. No apologies, just 'the manager will be up to see you'. Great I thought.
So 'manager' comes to my room, and she also can smell it. She looks around room and into the cupboard, where she finds a urine soaked, soaked towel! Oh she says the cleaners must have left it here. So instead of offering another room she says I'll get it out and it shouldn't smell anymore.. and proceeds to spray some chemical spray to get rid of the smell. Never mind the germs that this towel carries. Not an offer for another room nothing. She is satisfied with what she has done and decides that's all. I say what about the tv. Oh she says and begins to fiddle around with things behind the tv. She can't fix it I'll just get IT to come and have a look. So she leaves. I fiddle with the cables and get it working. Now all I need is the remote, I call reception to tell her the manager has taken the remote with her. She says she'll bring it up now. She comes gives me a remote. It doesn't work... I look at the back of the remote and it has a sticker which says 'recept 1'. Receptions remote! Just an absolute comedy of errors! Never again.

Amazing! Beautiful rooms, consistently clean. Fantastic staff who work hard to make a stay at the Galaxy Motel the most pleasant experience you could hope for.

Rooms are large, with balcony. TV with local channels. Self contained kitchenette in our suite with everything you could need. Safe in room for valuables. Rooms are cleaned thouroughly, towels replaced etc every day.

Spa, Sauna and heated pool available for guests. There is a Barbeque area , also, Laundry facilities on site. Gosford RSL is only steps away and an equally pleasant experience for meals and evening drinks. Stayed once, and stayed again. Would definitely stay again and have no hesitation recommending it.

I stayed there one night whilst completing deliveries from Albury to Newcastle. I told reception I desperately needed a place to stay. I didn't know the area and I was very sick and rather tired. So they told me the only room available was $150. It was their family suit. The car park was deserted both that night and next morning. Long story short, I felt rather lied too.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this motel! Comfortable room with a lot of space. Really good value too!
