Stayed here for two nights on site #1. Cost for two nights mid-week $34. No power, no water, no garbage bin, no smokimg and definitely no pets. The is an open kitchen shed with electric barbecues, picnic tables, sinks and 240v. Men's amenities consist of 1x urinal, 1x toilet & 1x shower with hot water. Clean but small for ten-site camp ground. If you book accommodation here, don't forget that any vehicles are subject to the "park use" fee of $8/day on top of the accommodation fee. Park use fee is not payable if you have an annual parks pass.

Great little camping spot with showers and toilets.

Great spot. Quiet except for the occasional coal train. Wish you could have fires. Ample barbeques, and clean bathrooms with hot water showers.

An amazing spot in am amazing little town. During our evening we saw a black faced wallaby, possums, a mama and baby wombat, a pair of owls, all sorts of birds and plenty of kangaroos.
We knew about the hard surface camping so packed bedding accordingly. Walks in the area are lovely, but very slopey.
The kids had a ball on their bikes. And there is a lovely picnic ground for kicking a soccer ball or throwing a frisbee.
It was raining when we were there, otherwise we're pretty sure the sunrise would have been sensational from Sunrise Point - next time!

Entry: $8 for 24hrs. Good treks, and lookouts and there is ample space to eat. BBQs provided as are toilets. However there are no rubbish bins, need to take your own rubbish with you.

Easy camping for tents and standard car. The camp kitchen had 4 picnic tables and 4 free BBQs and 2 sinks with cold water. Bring your own kettle for hot water. Camp sites were large enough for car, tent, chairs and clothesline. Each site was separated by a fence and some shrubs, so you didn't feel as though you were camping on top of each other. Ground was mostly sandy gravel and some rocks, but quite flat and comfortable to sleep with thin air mattress. Ground was easy to peg into and felt secure. Lots of ant holes but didn't see any ants. Toilets and showers were clean. Peaceful place. You could hear trains at night but wasn't disruptive. There is a large grassy picnic ground across from toilet block - this was a pleasant space for the kids to run about and set up badminton. Kangaroos in early morning and evening. Lots of lovely scenic lookouts you can drive to within a 1.5km drive from the campsite and short walk from car - some only a few meters. One is wheelchair accessible. Glow Worm Glen back up in Bundanoon is worth the trip - it is 2km return, with return journey being uphill.
