Gamble & Brown Cafe

The bacon and egg wrap was so greasy! It was probably the worst wrap I’ve ever eaten.

I'm a regular at this cafe and it rates very well for the range and standard of its cafe style food. Service is friendly but is not so efficient on Sunday's. Coffee is usually very good but again suffers on busy Sunday mornings. Update 17th September 17 : had breakfast at this cafe for first time; very impressed. Food was tasty and well presented and service was great.

Beautiful coffee & great food. LOVE! Bit of a wait on weekends though.

Pleasantly surprised to find a small little 'ordinary' looking cafe that actually had some tasty gluten free options. I wasn't looking for anything special, but this place really surprised us by serving strong, hot coffee, very hot satisfying meals and super friendly service.

Lovely gem in amongst retail area. Coffee always correct temperature staff friendly and accommodating. Food is well displayed and tastes as good as it looks.

Great coffee, and the food was alright. Recently renovated to allow more people. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Can get very busy.

Further to my original post my last three visits over the past four weeks were very disappointing.
First the coffee was very bitter, on the next visit coffee took ages and served just Luke warm and lacked flavour .On my last visit the cappuccino was weak lacking flavour and aurora and far too much milk. Not happy G & B !!
Can't understand why the standard has dropped, maybe a change in staff,and or management. A real shame, I really enjoyed my visits aside from the last three. There is plenty of competition in the area to enjoy a great coffee, sorry by my vote and custom is going elsewhere.

Been here several times for coffee and cake in their covered outdoor area. Coffee can be excellent depending who's on, using Sprocket Roasters coffee beans which are also sold here. Good for high-end takeaway pastas and salads. Most convenient aspect is being able to order and pay for coffee ahead of time via their app - collect it straight off the counter and be on your way.

Lovely happy service , amazing meals, quality quantity an great value for money, 100% recommend and cant wait to go back and take others to experience good food
