A great location and well maintained campsite but
1. There was no supplied firewood when we were there which means foraging which I'm not sure is great for the habitat.
2. It proximity to Newcastle and Central Coast means surprising amount of day trip traffic on the dusty road right by the site.

Fantastic for a day trip. A 450m path leads to an amazing waterfall and rockpool. One of the best on the central coast in my opinion. The trail is quite steep and slippery so moderate fitness level is required.

Beautiful hidden spot, about 20 mins off main track or so. Little kangaroos all around, quite pleasant. Drop toilets were very clean, hand basin water just trickled though. Hot plate very good and had table to sit at. Was nice to wake up at.

User

Was a nice location but the bins haven't been emptied and were over flowing so the goannas have been pulling the garbage all over the place.
Two large trees are dying and are a danger for tents or caravans.
This area needs a lot of work.

User

This is a really lovely spot with some great walking tracks.
Toilets were well maintained and there were clean bbqs.
There was lots of wildlife around, we even saw two wallabies with their joeys whilst eating breakfast and a possum tried to get into our car.
Track is fine for 2 wheel drive cars, but maybe wouldn't want to try it after torrential rain.

User

Don’t come to this campsite unless you want to be harassed by vicious possums from sunset to sunrise. Asides from that, it’s a great spot.

User

Amazing waterfall, challenging track, although it is much longer then 800m and be sure to watch for leaches

User

Awesome little camp. Slightly challenging hike to the waterfall but worth it...

User

Scenic area easy unsealed road access by car and more advanced areas by 4WD. Great for camping, picnics and bush walking.
Beginner and intermediate abseiling areas no permanent attachment points.
