I have a benign brain tumour which is being removed in July. Rather than waiting for them to shave my head in hospital, I decided to make the most of the opportunity and raise some money.
... Why Brain Cancer?? I don't have brain cancer but I do have a tumour, and the thought of someone having to cut into my skull and around my brain is daunting and scary.
So if we can raise much needed funds for research into better ways to treat this disease, hopefully it will improve the health outcomes.
