Gasiinsamut Thai Fusion

We turned up around 20.45. The only restaurant that welcome us very late. We ordered Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce as an entree, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, Chicken Pat See Eew. Our food came early than other peoples. We received a complimentary ice tea each. Compliments to the Chef and the waitresses. This restaurant is a self service when they are really busy. This is the first Thai restaurant that my husband thoroughly enjoyed the food. The waitress able to speak Bahasa Indonesia. Their Chef was visiting from Melbourne.

We visited the restaurant just two days ago, with a large group of people (6 families) with no prior booking and ordered over 30 items

Restaurant staff is very friendly, took all our orders very quickly and served all of us within 10 - 15 mins. We are very impressed with their service and quality of food

Service are horrible
When I order an prawns tom Kha soup they got it as a tom yum soup. When they send out the soup they didn’t say sorry and just add coconut milk in and give it back to me.
A tom yum soup is a spicy and sour flavoured soup
A tom kha soup is a creamy flavoured soup
So don’t know what worn with this soup is creamy and spicy is just horrific.
I will never come back to this restaurant at all.

More yummy than Chinese restaurant especially pork belly with chinese broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. Although each bowl of rice is $6, expensive, service is not bad.

If Fawlty Towers had been set in a Thai restaurant, this would be the result. We left pondering how it was possible for them to still be in business. Read all the one star reviews - they sum this place up perfectly.

Very slow service. They should hire a different chef, someone who cooks fast! Everyone was complaining on their seat how slow they were. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Cold draughty room. Wonky table. No hand towel in toilet. Slow service but only one other customer. Forgot the tea. Chili crab was terrible. $2 Eftpos charge. $1 for a 20c container. Upset stomach this morning.
DO NOT EAT HERE.

Awesome Thai food in Katoomba. Went to this place and the food is amazing. Would definitely go back.

I think they have a new manager and chef. The food tasted different since our last visit. It was fresh and delicious. My 9 year old is very fussy with food but she ate all her fried soft shell crab with garlic sauce. I love the stir fried veg. We will definitely go back there.
