Gelder Group Architects is a privately owned and operated design consultancy established in Sydney, offering a high level of architectural services based on extensive skills and design intellect across a broad spectrum of projects.

gelder is an architectural design company based on Sydney’s North Shore, the company was established with the aim of providing a co-ordinated approach to the design and construction of small to large scale projects for both the private and public sector. Our projects range from residential renovations to new housing and multi-residential developments. We also have extensive experience in industrial and commercial developments.

The company provides design development and documentation at the highest professional levels utilising the services of its experienced architects, interior designers and computer specialists. All staff are trained in the current technology to optimize job efficiency. The formation of strategic industry alliances also provides clients with access to a wide ranging support network of professional consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Our team approach to the construction process from feasibility stage through to the final building hand-over is a fundamental maxim for gelder. Industry experience enables the company to fit comfortably into this process at the desired position, whether as the lead consultant or as a member of a larger team, exceeding client expectations is a central philosophy of the gelder group.

Stuart Gelder, the principal of the company has been a practicing Architect since 1985 and has had a wide portfolio of architectural experience over his career.

In 1999 he formed Gelder Architect Group to provide a high level of architectural services based on skills in design and management. In 2005 Gelder Architect Group established an interior design business to become an all encompassing design entity known as gelder.
