I am very disappointed with their service. I purchased the bag (Think Tank Sling Bag 20) online from last month (22nd of March). And they said it was out of stock, and they will confirm to me if the item arrive at the shop.

1 week later, i email the websale asking for my order, but there was no reply. So i went to the shop ask them directly, and the staff said it would come on weekend (2weeks after i purchase). So i went to the shop again on Monday (3week after i purchase), and again they said that the bag hasnt came yet, it will come this weekend definitely. But same result, the bag didnt come. And finally, the 4th week, they reply my email said that they will ask for the ETA from the supplier. On Friday, 20th of April, George Camera call me said that my bag is discontinued, and ask me choose, refund or come to the shop for pick another bag. And i said to them i want to refund, but they couldnt do it on the phone, they asked me to do it on the shop. So i went to the shop today, and ask for the refund. They were not even smile when servicing me, their staff face was like talking with someone that asking for the money from then.

At the end, I wait for 30 mins there, but get nothing. They said online purchase only can be refunded through email.

I was wasting my time and got nothing from them. Thank you Georges Camera.

Awesome customer service and great range of products. These guys know their stuff and are far better than any of the "big" chain camera stores.

Great team, attentive, not pushy and offer genuine device. Georges also has an excellent range, most of which they carry on hand. It’s been a great experience dealing with these guys!

This is quite simply the best camera store in Sydney, if not Australia. There is a massive selection of lenses and cameras, as well as a video-only downstairs section which has a surprisingly large selection of the latest gadgets/drones/tripods/stabilizers. Staff is generally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

This shop is amazing, I'll never trust another place with my camera gear. Elliot and Adam are fantastic and Elliot worked a miracle for me this morning with a lens I thought couldn't be repaired and now it's as good as new, saving me from buying a $2500 lens in the process. These guys really care more about the customer experience as opposed to simply just selling to everyone who walks in the door. Highly recommended, simply could not love this place more.

They matched the price I had from another shop, which is nice. And the classes are very useful

Outstanding service! I ordered a Canon camera charger and battery on Tuesday that I needed on Wednesday when I was leaving the country. Georges staff made sure the order was processed and sent express post via Startrack and it arrived on Wednesday morning. Couldn't be happier with their service. I will shop here again

I’ve used George’s Cameras several times since taking up photography as a hobby. From buying my first Canon 70d and initial equipment/accessories to trading in and upgrading to the 5d mk III. On all occasions, staff have been both knowledgeable and helpful with advice on equipment and accessories whilst providing very competitive prices for genuine Australian stock. For me, another key point is they’re not pushy on making a sale, giving you plenty of time to think, shop around and come back on your own terms (others I found to be pushier to get the sale over the line). They’re also open to trading in your old gear, making the upgrade that little bit less painful in the pocket. If you’re after Cameras or accessories, would definitely recommend popping in for a chat.

Such ledgends, beyond helpful staff but if you have a lens you really want call first and make sure they have it in stock because they are crazy popular!

Talked to my husband, not me about what I wanted. Not very helpful re my questions about what I needed and seemed unsure of other cameras in the category that might be suitable. Took my custom round the corner to another shop who were brilliant.

Walked in on the way to DigiDirect down the road. The guys here at Georges offered me a better deal without too much trouble. They had great product knowledge and answered all questions I threw at them. Staff are friendly. Prices are good. What more could you want?
