Geriatricians ('Healthy Ageing Specialists') together with our health team provide bulk billed specialist medical care to all Australians aged 65 years and over, irrespective of location. At Geriatric Care Australia (GCA), we are passionate about healthy ageing. Healthy ageing is defined by the World Health Organisation as ‘the process of developing and maintaining functional ability that enables wellbeing in older age'. GCA strives to make this a reality for all older Australians. The team at GCA provide a range of medical services for people over the age of 65. Our geriatricians can visit patients in the community or via telemedicine. By bridging this gap, we hope to truly improve the quality of life, wellbeing and health of all older Australians.
