Gertrude & Alice Cafe

I have been 1 week without going to this place. After this time I came back and the food tastes beautiful as always but this time a new boy gaves me the order. He did it with a smile in the face and telling me to enjoy the meal. Also he saw that I am a spanish girl and he recommend me places to visit here. I asked him the name. It was Alberto. Great incorporation!!! Also all the same staff good as always. I love this place. Thank you for all.

Love this bookshop. They have most of the the good reads anyone would be interested in - both contemporary and classics. You can buy for cheap or just read there while drinking your coffee. I haven't eaten here, but pineapple and mint frappe is my favourite.

Vibe'd... no stress atmosphere & operation.

The food and drink is excellent quality, I highly recommend the turmeric latte. Great place if you want to read or work in silence, otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Came here on city2surf day, so they were a little stretched in terms of service. Avocado smash and sweet corn fritters were not bad, but a little pricey. Love the ambience and setup of a bookstore cafe.

Not too bad. Interesting books, nice toastie. Kombucha tea tasted like vinegar though which, while I realise is a mature batch and quite healthy, isn't the sort of thing you expect.

Unusual as it may sound, this cafe was on my checklist when I did visit Bondi beach and I was not disappointed. A quaint book cafe with very pleasant and comfortable interiors. The staff here don't just serve great coffee but are also whip up quick suggestions for the thirsty eyes to devour. I was recommended three books and after a few pages of each I couldn't wait to get home and start on these novels.
I highly recommend this cafe to every book lover to discover books and get great suggestions from the staff on books you might not have read otherwise!

Delicious, fairly generous salmon salad. Effective staff that let you enjoy a book or two in peace. Good place to work on a laptop.

This awesome bookstore-cafe does what all bookstores should. You can enjoy the quaint, homely feel offered by small new-and-used bookstores while drinking some great selections of tea and coffee, and flipping through an interesting collection of literature.
