The Hurtbox is Giant Cycling Club Sydney's annual charity fundraiser, open to all riders keen for a great day out while helping to give indigenous youth a leg up in life. This year there will be a 60km option as well as the 101km, 2000m vertical Classic Hurtbox. Once again we are supporting Adam Goodes’ GO Foundation, empowering indigenous youth through education. To celebrate the longest night of the year, we hosted a special Winter Solstice Takeover event for our Liv Cycling Sydney women’s riding community.
Coach Jen from Sparta Chicks and our local Liv ambassador crew joined forces to present a Winter Wild Ideas Workshop, taking us from inspiration to action (and knocking off our Inner Critics and Imposter Complex along the way).
Thanks to our full house of amazing women who joined us to share their 'wild ideas' over a cheeky glass... of vino and nibbles - we look forward to seeing you achieve them, both on and off the bike.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mums who taught us how to ride, patched up our skinned knees, encouraged us to try again, and told us to wear our helmets. Onya, Mum!

Great bikes but disappointing only offering 20% off. Guess they love them to and don't want to part with them.

Can only give 3 stars as I only visited here once. Staff seemed relaxed and answers questions I had for them. Although I was browsing around for some POC cycling gear and helmets they were limited in stock. Considering the size of the store and the great layout it was disappointing to come to believe that the store was only limited by its stock. Waste of space considering the nice bikes and some cycling gear(limited) that was in store.

The staff here in the workshop have twice helped me out recently with quick fixes or minor parts I needed in a pinch. Good service. Based off this I might give their full bike servicing a go when the next one is due.

Finding this awkward to write. Almost apologetic.
I bought a giant comax2 here the other day. They ordered the bike in especially even though id madr no commitment to buy. Service was exceptional. Advised on accessories and bike maintenance without hard sell.
They would get 5 no doubt. Only when i rode off i got to Chinatown and realised they hadnt tightened my handlebars prooperly and they slipped around.
Thankfully no harm done.

I am a real novice bike rider. I bought a pretty basic mountain bike from here about 18 months ago mainly for a charity event. They were very helpful at the time of purchase and have been extremely helpful since in dismantling and boxing my modest bike. Very patient and helpful

Their mechanic Ash, is phenomenal. Top class excellent service and all round good bloke. Without doubt, 5 stars.

What a top bunch of guys! Friendly, helpful and non-judgemental of my fairly basic bike! Much better than the other alternatives in the CBD. Highly recommend!

Great store. As a commuter cyclist needing an upgrade, I decided to do some research about bicycles and found that Giant bicycles were always well regarded for their quality and customer service. I bought a Giant Seek from this store about a year ago, and it is still running strong and well. It is a good, robust bicycle, and the after service I have received from the store has been exemplary.

If I can give one tip to potential customers, it is that they always have a clearance sale to make room for next year's stock near the end of the year. If you want to get a bicycle, generally near the end of year is best.

Great store.. Been many times this year.. Prices are good for retail store.. Staff friendly. Warrantied an item twice now with no receipt just remembered my face as customer. Wow.. Amazing

Really awesome store. Needed a spare part for my giant, the guys were extremely helpful. Gave me the part I needed and also broke a link in my chain free of charge! The same can't be said for other bike shops that decide to charge labour for sneezing on your frame...
