The most comprehensive analysis to date shows that avoiding meat and dairy is ‘single biggest way’ to reduce your impact on earth. In 2015, after opening our eyes to the cruel reality of animal agriculture, as well as realising it was the leading cause of environmental degradation, the only option for us was to remove animal products from the menu at Gigi. We didn’t know what effect our decision would have on the business, but it didn’t really matter because we were looking ...at the much bigger picture! Thankfully we had and continue to have the amazing support of our customers, new and old. After going vegan, we also looked at other areas we could make improvements, we ditched plastic straws and changed our T/A containers to more environmentally friendly ones. This plastic free July and beyond, we would love you to bring in your own containers when taking out. Re-using is always better than single use.
