Amazing service and care in moving and delivering of 5 oversized mature trees in pots - definitely will use them again ! Highly recommended!

Have moved twice with this company. Both times the service was excellent, professional and on time. The men are very polite, and helpful - even when moving some really large, heavy items.

Got this business to move our 3 bedroom house and yard items. They arrived before the planned time and got the job done without any breakages. Could make some improvements to the booking system maybe with some reminders and confirmations of the upcoming booking - as while they did not miss us I did not have a confirmation record sms/email etc. I would recommend them to others.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Took 6 hrs and $900 later to get everything out from my one bedroom apartment in Waterloo to Marrickville. There is a staircase that goes down into the apartment and they could not get my fridge out. The office called me to tell me they had to get a third guy to come but no matter which angle they couldn’t get it out saying getting things out is different to coming in because of gravity!
Two days later I had to get a second removalist ACCESS REMOVALS (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! they also do balcony lifts) who got the fridge out in 10 mins with two men. Such an inconvenience as I had to hand back keys to the real estate. I wish I did my research. You pay removalists to make things easier with no stress, I was stressed that whole day

EDIT: To be clear, ACCESS REMOVALS got my fridge out from UP the stairs, the exact same way it came down- in less than 10 mins with 2 men, and 15 mins to get into the truck. I merely said they do balcony lifts for anyone who are looking for that service- especially if you live in an apartment and don't want things being thrown off your balcony.
At the end of the day, i am paying you a service and it needs to be done no questions asked, no excuses, no blaming. You spent over 2 hrs trying to get a fridge out, which you couldn't and that cost me an extra $300. Access got it out in less than 10 mins without touching a wall. Your excuse and i quote 'we tried absolutely everything and the angle of access changes when going up the stairs opposed to coming down' I was baffled at these excuses because we got the fridge in with such ease.
I DID give you a list of my household items and a description of the apartment and access into it. Let me also add, i came back to clean and there was a hole in the wall on the staircase (which i should have taken a picture of but obviously can't now i've vacated, i was beyond upset that day and all week), and i also have a plant pot that is smashed.
I told your removalists i couldn't return to the address as i was taking my dog to the new house to get settled. He would have barked at them the whole time. Which in hindsight was a good thing as one of the men was afraid of my sausage dog and scampering around him at the new address. IF they needed me i told them to call me- he said they would be fine, it was straight forward- his words. The main removalist was actually lovely and I HELPED UNLOAD the truck in the new place because i felt bad that they had a hard day- which really i shouldnt have- IT"S NOT MY JOB!
Say whatever you want to defend your serious lack of competence and professionalism but the proof is that the fridge was easily removable, your company wasted time and just weren't up to the job which cost me dearly. Simple.

I really appreciate the great, friendly service we received from these guys. Although they were running a bit late from their previous job, they showed a lot of patience and understanding while moving my disabled clients room, who was clearly anxious and distressed about having her possessions handled by others. Can’t thank them enough for their help :)

Poor experience moving moving from a larger one-bedder to a Kennards storage 5 mins drive away. Most items were pre packed in boxes, with only larger ones untouched.

Smaller apartment with off street access (for a truck) and working lifts, not so much foot traffic.

Giraffe sent two people, with poor communication abilities, not just with us but with each other. Turns out both were new to the job, one seemed to be learning on the job also.

Started at 10:00am, they finished and left the storage at 7:00pm; job was projected to go for roughly 5-6 hours only.

At every step of the process I felt the removal guys were lethargic or slow, at no point was I confident with their attitude to meet a satisfactory level.

Complaints were made during the day to the company managers who capped the price at 5.50hrs, however the removalist still tried to gouge me for an additional $50.00 at the end.

Fragile boxes were storage badly, upside down, or with heavy items on top of them. Things BROKE.

We used a different removalist a month after, the job took 4.0hours in total, the distance to travel was further, the hourly rate was less, they helped rearrange the furniture a bit, and they were on time.

1 star because I cannot give less.

Fantastic service - Richard was great to deal with via email, and on the day Steve and Rem showed up 5 minutes early and got straight to work - fantastic! Quick service, both very friendly and chatty guys. Job done with no damage - and a smile! Will definitely recommend to others :)
