Dr Jonathan Gill's story:

I have been a strong advocate for chiropractic since my teenage years. Faced with a serious back injury and the prospect of spinal surgery, my parents found chiropractic help for me instead. I’m glad they did, because it was clearly the help I needed. I had ruptured a disc in my lower back, and was suffering extreme pain in my back and legs. I didn’t know anything about chiropractic at the time, but my full recovery in the months that followed confirmed to me that chiropractic was something very different and very special. I didn’t need surgery, and with the thorough care I received, my recovery was full. My sights from the age of 16 became set on becoming a chiropractor. Today, helping every person get back to their best is my passion in practice. I also have the privilege of teaching and conveying this passion to the next generation of chiropractors at Macquarie University.
