About Glebe Treehouse

A community centre in Glebe for young children and their families to play, learn and build relationships in a fun and friendly environment.

Glebe Treehouse Description

The Glebe Tree House is a safe place for families in Glebe.

It’s a program called a School as Community Centre – and its main goal is to provide support and opportunities for children – especially in the years before they start school.

Inside the Glebe Tree house and around the community we run a wide range of programs including playgroups, parent groups, literacy programs, health and education programs and family support workers – with one focus – to support families who have little kids.

The early years of a child’s life are known to be where the foundations of learning and living get laid down – they are an important time – and the most important people in that child’s life are their parents. As we all know, being a parent is a wonderful and demanding job – and at times it can be a tough job. This centre is here to provide a bit of respite – relief and support to families!

If you or someone you know might benefit from having a place like this to visit – come climb up the stairs to the Glebe Tree House – sit down have a cuppa and a yarn , the kids can play and play and play and be kids. And be reminded that the work you are doing of being a family – is the most important work in the world.
