I could spend hours discovering books in this bookshop. Big dusty Harry Potter vibe. The best part? There's a cafe next door to read your new book.

One of the very few bookstores still standing. I usually go here for book launches by independent authors. There is a great selection of books and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Local treasure of a bookshop that I remember from my uni days in the 1990s and which is just as good, if not better, now. Huge range of books, beautifully displayed, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great kids' section and I could browse the recipe books for hours.

Fun to browse. Always find an interesting read.

Great collection of books. The frequency and quality of events - launches and talks - is awesome.

Gleebooks is testament to the fact that good things come in small packages. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and it is unlikely you'll leave empty handed.

One of my favourite book stores in Sydney. Reasonably sized but more importantly, expertly curated. Helpful and friendly staff make this a great place to browse on a rainy Sunday, and inevitably, walk out with a stack of new books.

This is my favourite book store in Sydney. A great selection of books & the most knowledgable staff. I had a staff member spend a good amount of time going thru the children's selection & went to a lot of effort to explaining different authors & finding the appropriate gift!

They always have some titles on sale - sometimes you can find some hugely discounted books (e.g. $40 to $10)
