The Globe team would like to thank the Broken Hill & Regional Community for supporting the weekend birthday sale held on Saturday & Sunday 4th & 5th August.
It's the first time the sales event has carried over to the Sunday, our intention being to give customers that can't shop on the Saturday the opportunity to grab the same bargains on Sunday.
... We know you enjoyed the fun, festivities and food on Saturday - the kiddies enjoying Rusty & Sandy, the jumping castle, games and face painting. The event gave people a chance to mingle and socialise and everyone was grateful for the lovely weather on Saturday.
Planning and arrangements for the birthday begin in January and everyone in our team has a role. Family members also help out on the day, showing the dedication to the birthday sale extends beyond the staff. It's a significant financial investment we view as a necessity in order to say 'thank you' to a community that 'shops local'.
