My favourite coffee shop. The workers know my order off by heart and always make it well! The girls are great conversation and are always welcoming. It's the best place to have a catch up with girlfriends and take a date. I hope it never leaves.

Love going to this place when even I can. The staff are so friendly and great to talk to. Nice comfortable and inviting little place. My favorite little get away.

Nothing wrong with the coffee or the service from the lovely staff. The chocolate drink my wife had wasn't very strong. In general we find GJ's hot chocolates to be insipid to say the least...
My wife & I visited to have a romantic date but this was frustrated by the fact that the place is designed with hard surfaces which make it noisy plus, the low square single lounges are too low, have no arms & are difficult to get out of; they are worn out & the the cushions give way beneath you - they need replacing or reupholstering. They have a wooden frame at the back that stops you from sitting back on to relax, so you have to bend forward to communicate. It feels like you are not encouraged to relax and stay for long because the wooden chairs inside are not comfortable either. Not a romantic experience at all.

Good coffee and a relaxing place to read a newspaper or work on your laptop. You can have a cake or even a pot of tea, if that's your beverage of choice. And if you don't like paper cups, they will make your drink in a proper ceramic teacup or a mug. Recommended.

There are two staff that I see regularly one has less hair than the other - he's lovely, and pleasant and provides the standard of service you would expect ... the other, acts like he would rather be anywhere else doing anything else than being there .... there is NO wifi available ... my experience with GJ hasn't been fantastic in general, but this one would easily be the worse ... if the less haired gentleman wasn't there I would never purchase coffee from this place again.

Ordered sausage roll and coffee. Was told that it’l take at least 15mims for the Toaster to warm up so we had to cancel the sausage. Website says closes at 6:30pm we went down around 6pm and they dint want to serve us that and closed the cafe already. And their customer service was bad really bad. Rude staff. If u don’t like this job then find something else and not spoil Customers’s day. Never going back there again.

So much awesomeness it's ridiculous. The owners are fantastic and the staff are fantastic. I love being greeted by name as I walk in the door. Their coffee is amazing. My number one coffee shop of all time.

Great friendly, personal service. Freshly made whilst you are there, not a long wait . Clean, inviting store and an aroma you just can't resist and the variety has grown to cater for those who enjoy healthy cold beverages and there is also tasty food suitable for the coffee accompianment.

Pretty good coffee and fast enough service. There are better coffee shops closer to Newcastle, especially Hamilton, but fruit a quick espresso they do the job nicely.

Summer blend ice teas! Best things ever to cool you down in the summer heat. Always clean and friendly staff. Happy to reccomend.

Food served to the wrong table. I was asked to pick up my food from that table myself. No apologies offered... very disappointing.
Sad to know the person on the table where my food was served was happy to have it on his table without questioning the staff for quite some time.

Few years ago this was my favourite coffe place ever! But recently, as they changed staff, the customer service became very poor! Even worse, they sell food that is expired and dry. Coffe is not too bad, but they gave me small coffe instead large, and once I found some black stuff in my white hot chocolate.

Worst customer service ever. You'll get better at a 7/11 then here, when i walked into the store the girls serving we're nowhere to be seen next minute they pop up from beneath the counter but only once they had finished their very important conversation 'not'. One of them had the worst attitude I've ever seen in a customer facing role for a business like Gloria Jean's i would be ashamed of this lady representing the brand in that way if i was CEO she would not have a job, end of story. I highly recommend the McDonald's mc cafe coffee in the same area if you are keen on getting some caffeine not this place not even if it was the last coffee shop on earth. 👎👎😧 btw after reading other reviews it appears it is only the staff on Saturday who are below average in there ability to serve a customer.

On my first visit, I had a Chai latte with a shot of espresso which was amazing.

My second visit Which was a few minutes ago I had an Almond milk flat white that they gladly helped make perfect. A gentleman rung me up and a lovely lady made my drink. Thank you again, I hope I wasn't too much of a hassle. I appreciate it!

Where do I start I generally don't do this type thing first service is bad the staff on Saturday morning talks over as your ordering then has a conversation with colleague about track work half way through ordering cold sausage roll then a mop rammed into my foot I would never visit your shop even if you were the last place dissatisfying experience on a Saturday morning.

Poor staff service to people with visual impairments making simple requests like a mug, so that the contents are not spilled on the floor. Response, we do not have mugs. Yet other Gloria Jeans in Sydney happily service such requests for people like myself with visual impairments

Mediocre coffee muddled by pathetic service, I live nearby and have visited the store multiple times in order to give them a fair review, but they were awfully bad every time, the staff as another user mentioned keep chatting and giggling amongst themselves while not being bothered about customers.
No smiles, welcomes or Hi, its as if they are doing us a favour by making our coffee.
Long story short, avoid this place there are tons of coffee places in Macquarie centre that are better and offer coffee with a smile.

Don't bother. The staff are dismissive at best. The place is never clean and the coffee is exactly as is is across the chain ... mediocre.

The place looks a little rundown, but the coffee and food are reliable. Free wifi up to 100 mb or something, renews every 24 hours.

Staff are off handed and disinterested , there is better nearby. The coffee though is at least the same as any other Gloria Jeans ... nice but nothing special .
The staff spoil this place

If you're used to the hill song friendly smiles with sparkling eyes and blonde hair, then you're in for a surprise. These guys are rude as hell, and you'll be lucky to even get the order you requested. The points machine never works, or they can't be bothered using it. There is a reason every other coffee shop on Oxford street is busy in the morning, and these guys are dead. Locals know it's a hit and miss coffee shop.

Good coffee, delicious snacks, and descent internet. What more could you ask for?

Staff here are fantastic. My 2 year old spilt his drink everywhere (my fault) and the staff were out in an instant to not only clean up but replace his drink. Nothing but smiles.

One of favourite spot to minding my creative business - Web Development, Graphic designing, brainstorming for ideas and simply doing a quick social media marketing while I'm having a soy cappuccino. Coffee is burnt and over brewed, waste of money should of went to the one near jb hifi. Regretting my choice now.
Also shop needs lights turned on or replace was so dark in there it's like they didn't want any one to come in at all.

The baristas here always remember my order, and know me by name. It’s always very busy here (and rightfully so,) but they always complete my order in a timely fashion - even with a little heart or leaf shape in the foam!

Had a decent mocha here...staff must have been tired as they looked a little listless. Perhaps they should be paid a little more to help brighten their day. Happy to go back but it does need a little maintenance.

Gloria Jeans Glendale is an amazing and comfortable environment. Through a combination of great service, great decor and coffee brewed to perfection, I have awarded the shop 5 stars. I would like to give a special mention to my server Kye Jackson, in which was well spoken and had the best spikey hair. Mike, Trudy and Phil are wrong and probably lying.

Good parking but only early in the morning. Staff are friendly and nice but store has bad issues with their esipper machine rarely working for using up freebies,managers there however listen and apologise and help resolve this problem.Drinks are nice but also an issue with flies buzzing around, shop is small and suggest relocating to more spacious area

Well as usually best coffee. I love all of their coffee options but unfortunately they got my order wrong. Luckily it was not a bad coffee so no need to complain.

On the bright side, it only took 25 minutes to get both coffees completely wrong.

Quality drastically changes depending on who is making your order. Also unlike other Gloria Jean's, it has lactose free options.

Solid tasting hot chocolate, you can really taste the chocolatey goodness and the serving of milk, instead of watery hot chocolate's I've previously had elsewhere. Staff were nice, easy to talk to, but being directly with super busy Beecroft Road in front, the premises get unbearably noisy, so would prefer to have the door closed.

Ok service. Couldn't give me 15 dollars 25 cents change when I gave 22 dollars n 50 cents . I got my change back plus the three dollars a 2 dollar coin n 2 50cent pieces n 25 cents . Went there in the afternoon to relax a bit with my daughter... Instead I was disgusted .... The hot food service was not work which is ok... We got some food microwaved from there it was ok....BUT when we sat down to eat it every single table looked like it hasn't been cleaned all day.... Food on the floor around customer under table feet area.... Food on the seats and on the table.... All I have to say is YUK... If I saw that before i paid for it - I would have left... never going back there again RATING THIS AS BELOW ZERO.

Quite possibly the worst coffee in the area. Cheap. Very. It's been getting progressively worse over the last five years.

I enjoyed my cappuccino and toasted coconut and mango bread but couldn't actually taste any ma go in it.

The staff are lovely here and the quality of food is always quite good. However I can't give this store any more than 3 stars for 1 reason. One of the managers there are absolutely awful, as rude as can be, I can't express how awful she was. I was actually calling up to compliment a staff member but from the first word that manager said to the last, I was appalled. I won't disclose details for the sake of the other managers and staff members who are extremely lovely. I'm really hoping that this manager is now gone. I'm reluctant to go here just incase she's still there. Whoever hires managers please take more care....

Ive been in 4 times this week and on all 4 occasions none of the staff have showed any personality coming across quite rude that it became a topic of discussion between my friends & i the second time, my order was put through incorrectly once & ive been served burnt milk everytime! Pathetic , so crowded. I tried to help a old crippled lady on crutches she spilt coffee all over herself I tried to get tissues for her staffs tells me get out. Absolutely stupid. Only polite person was the girl in the adidas shirt.

Coffee just fine, I have a big question, 80cents for soy milk? Vitasoy... So I haven't noticed, is this price just here or in every Gloria Jean's? Any regular coffee shop charges you around 40-60 cents for bonsoy... Please tell is organic!

Decent coffee as expected from a chain store. Not much can beat getting bread top next door and chilling with a coffee with your friends.

The staff here are usually fairly helpful and polite especially on days when there aren't many customers, but when I came here on a busy public holiday, their attitude was absolutely terrible. First off, the Vietnamese woman taking my order didn't even accept my loyalty membership card and just took my money as I was fumbling with it. She took a good 15 minutes to prepare my drink and then proceeded to spill my drink and didn't even bother to apologise. Honestly, the drink was great but the staff? Not so much. I don't think I'd be coming back any time soon.

This franchise has very low standard of making a good coffee. The quality is not consistent. Sometimes I can have a very nice well made a cup of coffee, some other times I just want to throw in the bin!

My first time here, I walked in 5.28pm and the lady at the counter says they're closed, and I asked what time they close and she said 5.30pm. I told her it's not 5.30 yet, but she continued to pack and ignore me.

Didn't even get to finish placing our order before the rude staff made us want to leave.
We asked for a chiller in a ceramic mug to avoid plastic waste and were refused. It seems apparent that the staff here want to see the world swallowed by a sea of plastic that outnumbers the fish.

Worst experience for a Gloria jean's loyal customer as i am. Iced coffee tasted like iced latte and when i asked if they have put sugar in yet and the boss replied the coffee is pre-made and refuse to add cane sugar syrup which normal iced coffee should have has. *thumbdown*

Millions of people there, hardly any seats, and no one taking orders.

It's OK, but the coffee quality really needs to be re-evaluated now that the new part of Narellan Town Centre. It is average (at best) quality that now doesn't compare to the competition in the same shopping centre.

Didn't give me a smile, asked for 2 sugars in my coffee they did not put in it, bought a spinach roll that tastes bad. Gloria Jean's Coffee sucks!

Diappointed that I couldn’t get a coffee although they were open at 6:30am the girl couldn’t log onto the cash register until the boss turned up.

After sitting down observing the staff for a number of hours. I witnessed the staff eating while on shift. I then began to keep a close eye on their behaviours as i predicted they will cross contaminate. My suspicions were accurate as i saw not 1 but 2 staff members finish their food and then straight away go make coffee without washing their hands. I could have allergies to what they were eating. Imagine the predicament you guys would be in.

Have nothing but good things to say, couldn't disagree more with previous reviews - there's nothing more annoying than someone walking in expecting to be served 6 minutes before close - The machines probably turned off and they've probably cleaned up by then and sometimes you can't help but get stuck talking to friendly customers... that's what happens when you put effort into your job.

Have always been super polite and the manager has made the effort to remember my name and my order which I think is absolutely lovely. Always great coffee - always looking forward to the next one!

Went in this morning and ordered a tea & raisin toast. The toast was barely brown on one side and not done at all on the other, I showed the girl at the counter and it was toasted some more, now it was fully brown on one side and still not done on the other, took it back again and when it came back it was too dry to eat so I took it back again and said that I didn't want it at all. After about five minutes she brought my money back to the table, not a word said to me. In all this no one offered an apology. Also the store, while I understand that they are going through renovations, they do need to clean up the dust from sanding the walls that covered the floor, after all it is a food preparation area. I would have loved to leave positive feedback for this store but cannot say anything good about it.

Ordered a cappuccino from the kids at the counter, after I sipped the hot lava that almost burnt my face off I realised that there wasn't even any sugar in it like I ordered, so I put one in thinking this will help with the bitter urine I was drinking but I was wrong. Worst coffee I have ever had and the three millenials behind the counter must of missed the customer service training day. Thanks for the third degree burns Gloria jeans.

Located in Arndell Park complex, next to Aldi. Parking in the complex could be difficult sometimes during weekdays lunch time but you can always park at Aldi's car park :). I've been there so many times since few years ago. Always quick and friendly service. Coffee is great.

The cappuccino I bought today from the Gloria Jeans No.1 on the Western (Wollies) end of Penrith Plaza had very little coffee taste, in fact tasted like frothy milk only. This coffee shop has gone down hill from the original store owners a ciple of years previous. I have bought caps from this outlet from this outlet before and coffee has been tasteless. I think the need to go back to baristas school to learn how to make real coffees. Sorry I drink alt of caps & these are awful.

Best Coffee and Ambiance in town
Coffee is so nice and cups are bigger than other shops in Orange. Service is outstanding, with renovated decor and outdoor seating it is just perfect place to have a nice coffee with wide variety of options to eat in center of city. Would highly recommend it.

Not a great location but its ok for a quick coffee.
