Goldbergs Coffee House

Had I not been so hungry, I would not have finished the meal. The pasta I ordered had raw garlic sprinkled all over it and my partners steak sandwich was bordering on cold despite coming straight out of the kitchen. Honestly don’t know what the hype is?

Service was fine but nothing special.

Also, outdoor area could do with a real clean up, seemed lacking some tlc.

And I know I am from Melbourne so may be spoilt for quality coffee down there but how do you burn a coffee so bad and and not feel guilty serving it!

Terrific staff ! The complete experience was amazing. Food, ambiance, staff, everything has been great. Highly recommend this place. Once again, merci.

Conveniently open whenever I feel like dropping in. Tea and coffee are good and so is the food. Sometimes the service could be a touch friendlier, but overall I would recommend it.

Been going here for years, at least every fortnight. It's amazing that years of consistently good service can be spoilt in one night by two rude staff. Wow, some of these people have no idea of customer service. They believe that a customer explaining they don't like something is rude behaviour .

Will never return here and will never recommend here ever again. There are plenty of other cafes on Darby where the staff aren't rude with a certain disposition.

Went in for dinner last night for dinner, was greeted by a lovely young woman with massive earrings. Nothing was a problem even with my special requests and was real gem with our kids.
What a great place to eat, all the staff were wonderful.

Good coffee, great food. Can be crowded but otherwise great.

Decent fallback though not my first choice of cafe along Darby Street. Probably the best known place though.

Normally love this place, came for coffee after work. But tonight, wed 12/4/17 I came with a smile on my face, ready for a good coffee but the blond waitress came to us then aggressively threw the menu on the table. The young girl was so rude. We left right after that. So disappointed.

Had such a lovely time there last night for a birthday. Friendly staff and awesome food. Waitress made a small error with our starter, but fixed it promptly. Loved sitting out in the courtyard :)
