Gracie Shark Jiu-Jitsu was founded in 2009 by Tiago Ferreira, a black belt of 11 years.
As a student training with the Gracie family in Brazil (the founders of this style of martial art), Tiago was personally coached at Gracie Florianopolis, Brazil under the masters Rilion Gracie and Crolim Gracie.
In 2000 he trained with Rickson Gracie in California, USA and, in 2007, Tiago commenced teaching for Bruno Panno at the Gracie head office in Sydney.
He now not only continues to teach but also competes nationally and has achieved 1st and 2nd placing in various competitions across the globe.
His experience spans over 20 years and multiple continents, as well as training and obtaining his teaching qualification from the most prestigious academy in the world.
