The team from renowned Guangzhou-based speakeasy cocktail bar, Hope & Sesame, will bring their innovative technique and flair to Grain for two days only as part of their Australian tour.
Andrew Ho and Bastien Ciocca, founders of Hope & Sesame, will be showcasing their unique approach to the art of cocktail making in an interactive food and cocktail pairing masterclass on Monday 10 September, 1-3pm. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to match different food flavours with spirits and create cocktails made with cooking techniques.

The duo will be behind Grain on 10th and 11th September from 5pm - 9pm, stepping behind the bar to serve some of their most and unique and inspired cocktails.

Grain joins forces with one of Australia's leading tequila and mezcal bars, Tio's Cerveceria, to explore the liquid expression of culture.
From 5pm - 7pm on Thursday 16 August the Tio's team will be behind the bar, bringing their renound style, unique products and unparalleled knowledge of Mexican spirits.
In collaboration with Grain the Tio's mixologists have produced an exclusive cocktail menu that combines the bar's rare collection of tequila and mezcal varieties with nat...ive Australian produce. The product of two different landscapes meet, resulting in a truly unique taste and experience.

fter two huge months celebrating the fine products that are tequila and mezcal, Sydney craft spirit and cocktail bar Grain will draw the festivities to a close in true Mexican style - with a finale fiesta.
From 5pm on Friday 31 August the bar will be adorned with the finest joys of Mexican culture; an explosion of vibrant food and colours, theming, and of course an abundance of tequila and mezcal.
This will be the last chance to enjoy our special cocktail menu highlighting t...he unique properties of tequila and mezcal, each made special with Grain's signature hand-crafted ingredients. The celebrations just wouldn't be complete without a Mariachi set, performed live by Mariachi Sydney.
