Graphic Arts Services Australia Description
The new GASA section of Printing Industries Association of Australia was which was formed from the amalgamation of the GASAA and Printing Industries in early 2013. Operating under the new name, Graphic Arts Services Australia and being guided by the dedicated and forward looking committee and management group behind the old GASAA, creatives and print production professional are encouraged to participate in all that is offered.
Previously the Graphic Arts Services Association of Australia (GASAA) was an independent business association for companies providing creative, multimedia, digital pre-press, data and print management services. In 1923 the association was Federally registered and it changed its name and focus over the years to keep pace with the fast moving world of graphic communications.
GASAA was officially amalgamated with Printing Industries by Fairwork Australia on 1 March 2013 after a lengthy consultation process that saw a unanimous decision of voting GASAA members to approve the coming together of the leading membership bodies.
