Griffiths Wine and food.

Griffith is at the heart of the vast Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and produces about 60% of the grapes grown in the State. Visit big-name wineries such as De Bortoli and Hanwood, stock up on local produce such as jams, preserves or pasta sauces.
The main town of the Riverina, Griffith (Founded 1817) was developed in the early days of irrigation and designed by Walter Burley Griffin, the architect of Canberra. Today, there are more than a dozen wineries in the district with world-famous names. Griffith comes alive during La Festa, an annual event celebrating food, wine and cultural diversity held each Easter.
