Australia's migrant numbers have dropped to their lowest levels in more than a decade under stricter rules enforced by Peter Dutton's Home Affairs department.
Permanent migrantion numbers hit a peak in 2015 at 190,000 people. But have fallen to fewer than 163,000 in the last financial year which is the lowest intake since 2007.
