The program gives high school students the opportunity to lend a helping paw to trainee Guide Dogs at the Guide Dog Centre in Glossodia so that they can socialise and build confidence

This week we received a wonderful message from 16 year old Benjamin Said. Ben has committed himself to completing the Melbourne Half Marathon on October 14th as a blind runner to give back to Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. Ben hopes to fundraise the amount required for Guide Dog Training to help others who are losing their sight too and show that if a vision impaired 16 year old can run a half marathon - anybody can! . In Ben's words: "I would like to remind everyone that every dollar ...counts, and one guide dog will change the life of another person just like me" .
