☀ Can I smoke cigarettes in rehab?
🚭 At Gunnebah we made the decision to be a smoke-free facility. One of the main reasons being that recent evidence shows that people who are able to quit smoking have a higher chance of avoiding relapse.

Introducing our newest team member!
Alexis has over 10 years of industry experience, and has worked in mental health policy, youth residential care, child protection, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Alexis has worked extensively with young people who have experienced trauma, and has most recently been coordinating wellbeing programs for youth in detention. She is passionate about working with people, and understanding them in the broader context of the society they are p...art of. She is particularly interested in how positive psychology research and practice may be applied to treating addiction. She believes that through nurturing the body, mind and spirit, and instilling a sense of hope and connection, recovery is possible for anyone. Alexis is close to completing her studies to become a yoga and meditation teacher.
