What does the word ‘home’ - HABAYIT mean to you?

Memories, smells, security, love… each one of us has a different meaning to it. To each one of us this word will touch a different place in their heart.
A home with an open door where we can come, celebrate, share and learn. A place we could bring our children so that they too would share our values and experiences that we grew up with.
A place where we can celebrate Jewish holidays with our community. A place where our children can learn to read and write Hebrew - so words like ‘Erga’ (longing), ‘Neshama’ (soul), ‘Simcha’ (joy) and ‘Chemla’ (compassion) can become part of their vocabulary.
