HANDBAG is a heartwarming DOCUMENTARY about MONICA, a vivacious third generation “fag hag” hellbent on BURSTING THE STEREOTYPE of the much maligned best female friend to gay men & DEMONSTRATE THE VALUE OF ALLIES in the struggle for equality. It’s really about FRIENDSHIP and it's important to us because we believe WOMEN HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE LIVES.
