Harris & Company is a long established Sydney city law firm with a strong commercial emphasis which provides advice and expertise in a broad range of legal disciplines.

Harris & Company can trace its origins to the establishment in 1939, by the late Mr John C Harris, of a legal practice in Sydney.

Later called J C Harris & Co, that firm prospered and grew. In 1988 the firm's existing partners were joined by four new partners and the firm changed its name to Harris & Company.

The firm has since its inception had a wide variety of clients and developed expertise in many areas of the law whilst maintaining a commercial and property emphasis. That expertise has in part been created by the firm's long tradition of retaining the best of its solicitors - three of our existing partners began their careers with the firm as employed solicitors - but also by attracting partners and solicitors who have broad experience and talents

Harris & Company is the valued advisor and the trusted confidant of many of our clients to whom we provide a personalised, efficient service. We tailor our expertise to facilitate our clients continued growth and success.

Although Harris & Company acts for many small, meduim and large commercial clients the firm has a very large private client practice.
